Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics SAS, v. v. i. (IMSAS) and the Society for New Materials and Technologies (SNMT) organized a basic seminar for transmission electron microscopy (TEM) where the participants learned about the basics of TEM and STEM microscopy, about the preparation of various samples and about the evaluation of measured data (SAED, HR- STEM, FFT, EDS). During the seminar, they also acquired practical skills on the Jeol TEM1200EX and Titan Themis microscopes, and they can further use the acquired knowledge in their research work.
