IMMM SAS as a member of ESA within the framework of the new project "Feasibility study of contact capacitor discharge welding gear for space debris capture," which was obtained by colleagues from the division of microstructure of surfaces and interfaces, they were invited to participate in this important international conference. As part of the two-day program, our colleague Ing. Naďa Beronská, PhD. with the topic "In-space Capacitor Discharge Welding - An opportunity for In-Orbit Assembly" and Ing. Marek Gebura, PhD., with the company Space Scavengers SK, with which IMMM SAS closely cooperates, presented the topic "Concept of Space Junkyard managed by intelligent satellite swarms and its potential role in fostering sustainability and cyclic economy in space."
