From 03 to 07 September 2023, we had the honor of participating in an important scientific conference called the 17th European Congress and Exhibition on Advanced Materials and Processes - FEMS EUROMAT 2023, held in the German city of Frankfurt am Main. This conference offers a unique opportunity for researchers, scientists, and students to exchange ideas, share their research, and learn about the latest advances in materials science.
On behalf of IMMM SAS, our two doctoral students have also had the opportunity to present their latest scientific work in the poster section at this conference. Selim Burak Cantürk, MSc. introduced the work entitled Changes in microstructure and thermal properties of copper-based composite materials with graphite prepared by gas pressure infiltration and Ing. Lucia Kopčanová, whose work entitled Research of the use of dual laser beam and its influence on the resulting properties of welded joints of duplex steels introduced visitors to her research in the field of welding.
The participation of young scientists in a scientific conference can be an essential opportunity to share research results, exchange ideas, and build future professional relationships.
Young scientists were given new inspiration by this international conference and enriched with new perspectives and ideas, and they rushed into further scientific work.
