On October 18, 2023, the 6th Technology Day event was organized by the Private Secondary Technical School in Žiar nad Hronom. The goal of the event is to motivate the young generation to study technical fields and show them that this field is not only a challenge but also an endless source of opportunities and innovations that can lead to the creation of technologies or discoveries that have a positive impact on society as a whole.
Several technological and engineering companies and schools from the surrounding area presented themselves at the event, and therefore, our colleagues from the Inoval detached workplace could not be absent from this event. The students, who were mainly from primary schools, demonstrated the production of foamed aluminum and products, the development of thermal batteries, and the use of waste heat, which the workplace focuses on and which are the topics of technological development and applied research at this workplace.
 
About 580 students participated in the event, so events like this are a great way to develop the interest and engagement of young people in technical fields.
