Creation of CE for research and development of composite materials for structural engineering, construction and medical applications

Centre of Excellence (CE) was created by the cooperation of six R&D institutions deailing by research of structural composite materials and development of related technologies in the region of Bratislava. The infrastructure of CE has been completed by purchase of top level scientific equipment and by improving communication between partners using modern ICT facilities. CE initializes an international R&D cooperation in the field of composite materials closely with domestic economic sphere. CE puts the special emphasis on cooperation with leading foreign scientific institutions and the inclusion of R&D results in the field of composite materials to learning programs of Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
