The project is aimed at the experimental determination of the dependence between the parameters of the transverse and longitudinal unevenness of the road and the ride comfort of the driver/co-driver in a motor vehicle. Parameters of the measurement group will be the type and technical condition of the vehicle, the vehicle speed, the road category and the level of longitudinal unevenness. Measurements unique to their range of test sections and of experiment variables will be realized. The aim will be to determine the dependence between the parameters of the transverse and longitudinal unevenness and the whole-body vibration of the vehicle crew. An unevenness indicator using the transverse and longitudinal unevenness parameters will be proposed to take into account the crew-induced whole-body vibration. The results could make a contribution to increasing ride comfort, ride safety and decision-making on the operational capability of communication.
