Results of the competition of PhD. students and young researchers of SAS up to 35 years.

The Slovak Academy of Sciences annually organizes a competition of young scientists of the SAS up to 35 years of age, while it is awarded in the category of Ph.D. students and the category young researchers of the SAS. This year, the Scientific Board of Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics nominated two colleagues for this award in the category:
Young researcher up to 35 years: Ing. Kateryna Kamyshnykova, Ph.D.
PhD. student: M.Sc, Ahmed Mohamad Hassan Ibrahim.
At its meeting on 13 May 2021, the Presidency of the SAS approved the results of the competition in both categories. The winners for the First Department of Sciences are:
 
Young researcher under 35 years:
1st prize: RNDr. Lucia Balejčíková, Ph.D, Institute of Hydrology
2nd prize: Ing. Kateryna Kamyshnykova, Ph.D., Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics, SAS
3rd prize: RNDr. Matúš Orendáč, Ph.D., Institute of Experimental Physics, SAS

Honorable mention was given to:
Ing. Ladislav Valkovič, PhD., Institute of Measurement Sciences SAS
Mgr. Ivan Shepa, PhD., Institute of Materials Research SAS
 
PhD. students:
1st prize: RNDr. Katarína Zakuťanská, Institute of Experimental Physics, SAS
2nd prize: M.Sc. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Ibrahim, Institute of Materials and Machine Mechanics, SAS
3rd prize: Mgr. Katarína Rišková, Institute of Geography SAS

Ing. Anang Dadhich, Institute of Electrical Engineering SAS
