On September 30, 2022, the 16th took place in twenty-five European countries, including Slovakia. In addition to Bratislava, four Slovak cities, Košice, Banská Bystrica, Žilina, and Poprad, also joined Europe's largest science popularization event. IMMS SAS  couldn't miss the festival in Bratislava this year either. After two online years, we couldn't wait to meet our child fans in person. This year, at our stand, visitors could measure the force needed to break different materials through a mechanical test in three-point bending or examine the materials we work with under a microscope. The biggest attraction of this year, however, was the sugar press, with which visitors could experience in a fun way the process of pressing the metal powder from which we make metal products. The cherry on the cake (or on the press) was the final, pressed product, i.e., candy could be eaten. Our stand was trendy, and judging by the excited faces of the children, making your candies was the right choice.
