An innovative way of producing printed sensors using kitchen waste

Effective use of biological waste is a key step in the fight against climate change and excessive waste of natural resources. At a time when the volume of municipal waste is constantly increasing, proper management of biological waste is not only an ecological but also an economically advantageous alternative.

Waste offers wide possibilities of use in various scientific fields. Our researchers used the potential of biowaste for the development of new biosensors.

In the article "Innovative method of manufacturing printed sensors using kitchen waste", which was published in the magazine Prešporský podnikateľ, you will learn about this innovative research, which is being carried out by our scientist Dr. Alena Opálková Šišková together with other scientists from SAS and STU Bratislava. They talked about the contribution of this solution to environmental sustainability, technological progress, and the overall positive impact on society.
