Study of plastic deformation of severely strained Mg –Li alloys and composites by acoustic methods

Project start:01.01.2013
Project end:31.12.2015
Programme:Academic agreement
Institute position in the project:Project co-lead partner
Project leader at the institute:Stanislav Kúdela Sr.
The subject of the investigations is related with the determination and explanation of correlations between plastic (and superplastic) and acoustic properties of Mg-Li alloys and composites subjected to channel-die compression before and after intensive strain operations – especially related with the ECAP (Equal Channel Angular Pressing) method used at elevated temperatures.
